This episode was created in honour of the upcoming 2018 Inaugural Joint World Congress of the International Stuttering Association, International Fluency Association and International Cluttering Association taking place in Hiroshima, Japan from July 13 to 16, 2018, with local host organisation the Japanese Society of Stuttering and Other Fluency Disorders. I have suffered immensely from an undiagnosed cluttering disorder. It has stagnated my career as a physician, contributed to social isolation and was probably a significant factor with my substance use disorder. I was finally diagnosed at age 59 – two years ago.
