Thursday, March 15th, 2012

Link #92: GREAT presentation about the stigma of stuttering and what us stutterers can do to change it. I was alerted to this excellent presentation by Sharon Emery, fellow stutterer who has a few words of advice for fluent listeners. And us stutterers. A few quotes I really liked: “Disfluent speech is almost always a [continue reading...]

Shaq stutters?

Sunday, March 11th, 2012

Link 91: Who knew Shaquille O’Neal stutters? I don’t follow professional sports however, being active in the stuttering community, it’s inevitable that I will find out who in professional sports stutters. Or “used to” stutter. This week I learned that Shaq Attack himself stutters. He appeared in a marketing campaign by Dove, the soap, aimed [continue reading...]

I think my favourites are Stuttered Stress, Voice Rejoice, Speak A Speech and Stuttered Justice.
