The King’s Speech had it’s North American premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival and I was there! Of course, I did some podcasting to give you the thoughts and reviews from me and my friends about the movie. Based on the friendship which formed between King George VI and his speech therapist, Lionel Logue, the movie is already getting Oscar buzz. The King’s Speech, starring Colin Firth and Geoffrey Rush as respectively as the king and the therapist, will be coming out in theatres all over the world this winter (or summer for those of you in the southern hemipshere). So here’s a spoiler-free sneak peek into the movie that I just won’t stop raving about.
Edit: Sept 20th: The King’s Speech won the main prize at TIFF!
