Frequent Stuttering is Cool guest and blogger Pam Mertz, the Stutter Rock Star, has launched her very own podcast! Called Women Who Stutter (iTunes link), it’s geared towards the stuttering experience of the fairer gender. In a casual chat format, Pam’s podcast is a long overdue glimpse into the stuttering experience for women. After all, men make up the majority of sutterers as well as in support meetings and social meet ups (and podcasts).
Congratulations on your new adventure, Pam. I know you’ll enjoy it as much as I do with mine!
P.S. Like all podcasts, you don’t necessarily need to use iTunes to subscribe. You can listen directly on Pam’s website at http://stutterrockstar.wordpress.com or subscribe to her rss feed, http://feeds.feedburner.com/stutterrockstar, in any feed reader or podcatcher (free of cost!).
This is an open-mic podcast. I encourage you to record some audio of yourself and email it to me at coolstutter@gmail.com.
I'll play it on my next episode!
This way, we all hear each other stutter and feel less alone with our speech impediment!
Join the Facebook page and chat with me on Twitter — I'm @stutterdude.
I really appreciate you doing this for me – this really nice bit of P.R.
